The Pirates sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 24-21 win over the Blue Streaks on Friday for which the team can thank Flaherty, who threw for 279 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 41 yards. Port Charlotte also relied on Flaherty, who's 45-yard boot wound up being the difference in the game.

Despite the loss, Sebring still got an impressive performance from Laquest Brown, who rushed for 53 yards and one TD on only seven carries, and also threw for 144 yards and one touchdown.
