Baseball Recap: Louisburg Comes Up Short

Louisburg and Bunn squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Louisburg had to settle for second. They lost 14-4 to the Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-2 defeat back in April.

The loss snapped Louisburg's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-9 record. As for Bunn, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 23-2.

Louisburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bunn, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Clinton at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2.4, the Dark Horses 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
