Basketball Recap: Sunshine Bible Academy Takes a Loss

Sunshine Bible Academy lost against Wessington Springs back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders had to suffer through a 58-29 loss at the hands of the Wessington Springs Spartans. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-14.

When it comes to explaining why Sunshine Bible Academy lost, don't look at Abby Hinman. Despite the final result, she posted ten points and six rebounds. Hinman has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 15 times she's played.

Sunshine Bible Academy dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Wessington Springs, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Sunshine Bible Academy will venture away from home to challenge McIntosh at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wessington Springs, they and Ethan will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
