East Stroudsburg South snaps three-game streak of wins on the road

The East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the East Stroudsburg North Timberwolves on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Timberwolves by a score of 72-70. East Stroudsburg South has not had much luck with East Stroudsburg North recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Leading East Stroudsburg North to victory were Nate Wilder and Bryceson Dobie. Wilder scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists, while Dobie scored 26 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The game was Wilder's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Piotr Drozd, who scored ten points.
East Stroudsburg South's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. As for East Stroudsburg North, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Stroudsburg South will challenge Northampton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Stroudsburg North, they will head out on the road to face off against Whitehall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Whitehall will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
