Baseball Recap: Shadow Creek Comes Up Short

Shadow Creek suffered their closest defeat since March 4th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks by a score of 11-9. The Sharks just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Lubin Rincon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 4-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Jaylan Simmons also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Shadow Creek now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Pasadena Memorial, they moved to 9-10-1 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

While Shadow Creek had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
