Basketball Recap: Clifton's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Clifton waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They secured a 65-59 W over the Lampasas Badgers. For the Cubs, this counts as revenge for the 66-59 win the Badgers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Clifton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Lampasas, they moved to 10-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clifton will be home for the holidays to greet Bruceville-Eddy at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bruceville-Eddy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lampasas, they will host Faith Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
