St. Mary put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mount Mercy Academy Magic. That's more bragging rights for the Lancers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: St. Mary's took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-11, 25-11.

St. Mary's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cameryn Wanat, who had 21 assists and three digs. That's the most digs Wanat has posted over her last six matches. Kennedy Lindquist was another key player, getting six digs and four aces.

St. Mary's was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mount Mercy Academy only served one.

St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Mount Mercy Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

St. Mary's wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Pittsford on the 27th. As for Mount Mercy Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on West Seneca West at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
