Softball Recap: Nease Panthers vs. Fletcher Senators
Nease and Fletcher squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Nease had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Senators by a score of 7-6. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Senators this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-1 defeat on April 11th.
Miranda Harmon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. Emma Stewart was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Nease's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Fletcher, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.
As of now, neither Nease nor Fletcher have any future games scheduled.
