Softball Recap: St. John Paul II Takes a Loss

St. John Paul II came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Madison County Cowboys, falling 16-1. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cowboys from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

St. John Paul II saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JALIYA CONYERS, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

St. John Paul II now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John Paul II will venture away from home to face off against Aucilla Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison County, they will head out to challenge Branford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
