The Glenn Bobcats will take on the Asheboro Blue Comets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Glenn is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season.

Glenn had been on a four-game streak of scoring at least four goals, but Mount Tabor put an end to it last Tuesday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1. Glenn's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Darey Lopez-Martinez, who's now up to 31 this season.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Asheboro had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Indians a 6-0 shutout. Considering Asheboro have won 12 contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Asheboro has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 39 goals over those six matches. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 18-2-3.
