Softball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Columbus Grove Bulldogs, falling 11-1.

Makenna Dray made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases and one run.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Columbus Grove, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-13 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perry will challenge Jefferson at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Columbus Grove, they will take on Pandora-Gilboa at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
