Elverado waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Meridian Bobcats. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bobcats, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Elverado took both sets by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10.

Their offense was headlined by Essence Haynes and Presley Knupp, who picked up four kills apiece. Knupp also shared the team's lead in assists with Maci Caraway: they picked up four each.

Elverado's victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Elverado wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Webber on the 9th. As for Meridian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Joppa-Maple Grove on the 8th.
