Basketball Recap: South Pointe Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Pointe can now relate to. They took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Learning Foundation & Performing Arts Wolves on Monday. The Griffins haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

South Pointe's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts, their victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4.

South Pointe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts, they will challenge East Valley Athletes for Christ at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
