Recap: Rubidoux Falcons vs. Indian Springs COYOTES
The Rubidoux Falcons won the last time they faced the Indian Springs COYOTES, and things went their way on Friday too. Rubidoux enjoyed a cozy 37-20 victory over Indian Springs. That 37-20 margin sets a new team best for Rubidoux this season.
Indian Springs' lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Xavier Webber, who picked up 237 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Webber's longest reception was for an incredible 95 yards. Another player making a difference was Damien Mancha, who threw for 314 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 15.0 yards per attempt.
This is the second loss in a row for Rubidoux and nudges their season record down to 3-6. Sadly, the team can't blame their woes on tough opposition, as that stretch included 3-6 Rubidoux (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 44.4% over those games). As for Indian Springs, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which is still a better percentage than their 1-8 record this season.
