Mooresville has gone 7-1 against North Iredell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Tuesday, Mooresville came up short against South Iredell and fell 8-3.

Meanwhile, North Iredell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of East Lincoln.

North Iredell's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Mooresville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Mooresville skirted past North Iredell 5-3 when the teams last played back in May of 2017. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
