Football Recap: Troy Comes Up Short

Troy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 26-0 to the Sonora Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 369th, while the Raiders are ranked 160th).

Troy's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sonora, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Troy will face off against rival Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Sonora is set to square off against their familiar foe Pioneer at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
