After a string of six wins, Wadsworth's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell to the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees 41-36. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-58 back in December of 2024.

Brecksville-Broadview Heights got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ashley Perdion out in front who went 6 for 10 on her way to 14 points. Jessie Zenir was another key player, putting up ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Wadsworth's loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-3. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wadsworth will host Hudson at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hudson will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Wadsworth surely won't give up without a fight. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, they will challenge Stow-Munroe Falls at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
