Baseball Recap: Holland Takes a Loss

Holland fell victim to Rosebud-Lott and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 23-0 to the Cougars. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Holland got a good showing from Colin Hall, who tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, Hall gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in May of 2024.

Holland has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's still a better percentage than their 4-19 record this season. As for Rosebud-Lott, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-7-1.

Coincidentally, Holland and Rosebud-Lott will both be playing Granger the next time they take the field. The Hornets will host the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
