            Volleyball Recap: Washington Rams vs. Glendale Cardinals        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Desert Edge, Washington was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They came out on top against the Glendale Cardinals by a score of  3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  on April 1st.
 Washington walked away with the   win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 23-25,  25-13.
 Ben Marquez paced Washington's offense, picking up 18 kills. Marquez got some help from  Byar Reh and his 14 assists. Marquez was also solid from the service line:  he led the team with five aces.

Washington's victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-13. As for Glendale,  they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-14.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will venture away from home to  square off against Buckeye  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Glendale, they will head out to  face off against Independence  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
