Baseball Recap: Santaluces Comes Up Short at Home Against Olympic Heights

Santaluces unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Olympic Heights Lions on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The Chiefs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Coming up, Santaluces will take on King's Academy in a tournament on February 11th. As for Olympic Heights, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-6 defeat against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on the 6th.
