Soccer Recap: Springdale Takes a Loss

After flying high against Burrell on Saturday, Springdale came back down to earth. The Dynamos took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gateway Gators on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Springdale came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 166th, while Gateway are ranked 392nd).

Springdale's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Gateway, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springdale will welcome Jeannette at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gateway, they will face off against Penn Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
