Oak Park not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 13, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Dos Pueblos Chargers as they made off with a 3-0 win. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Chargers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

While Oak Park won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-8.

Andrea Mise paced Oak Park's offense, picking up three kills. Mise got some help from Ashleigh Ross and her six assists. Avyn McGugan controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Oak Park's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Dos Pueblos, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Oak Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Hoover on the 15th. As for Dos Pueblos, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Santa Ynez on the 19th.
