While Waterford's victory against Shenandoah wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Zeps 8-7. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Waterford's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Shenandoah, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterford will venture away from home to take on Warren at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Shenandoah, they will challenge Meadowbrook at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
