Victoria West skates past Southside with ease

With a playoff game on the line, the Victoria West Warriors rose to the challenge on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 59-22 victory over Southside. Victoria West might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matches by 35 points or more this season.
Victoria West was led to victory by Camden Repper and Kamauri Montgomery. Repper rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, while Montgomery rushed for 238 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Montgomery was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 57 yards.
Victoria West's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Southside, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.
Victoria West is on the road again on Friday and play against Harlingen South. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Harlingen South is ranked 618th, while Victoria West is ranked 593rd). Southside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
