Football Recap: Momence Momence Athletics vs. Salt Fork Storm
Momence put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 28-21 win over the Salt Fork Storm. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Momence Athletics also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.
It was another big night for Marchello Draine, who rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making seven total tackles and defending two passes. Brogan Halpin did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 80 receiving yards.

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last. As for Salt Fork, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman at 12:00 p.m.
