Soccer Game Preview: Hardeeville vs. St. John's

The Hardeeville Canes are taking a road trip to challenge the St. John's Islanders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. John's took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hardeeville, who comes in off a win.

Hardeeville had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Ridgeland Secondary Academy Of Excellence on Tuesday. The Canes put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 4-1 victory. Considering Hardeeville have won seven games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, St. John's was not quite Royal Live Oaks Academy's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell just short of the Royal Knights by a score of 3-2. St. John's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
