Soccer Game Preview: Episcopal vs. Mount St. Mary Academy

Episcopal hasn't had much luck against Mount St. Mary Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Belles at 5:00 p.m.

Friday just wasn't the day for Episcopal's offense. They lost 5-0 to Robinson on Friday. Episcopal have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Mount St. Mary Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand Cabot a 6-0 shutout. Mount St. Mary Academy's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last 12 contests.

Mount St. Mary Academy pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those six matchups. As for Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Episcopal might still be hurting after the 5-2 loss they got from Mount St. Mary Academy in their previous matchup back in March of 2023. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
