Basketball Recap: Show Low Comes Up Short

Show Low suffered their closest defeat since February 6, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Seton Catholic Sentinels by a score of 50-47. The Cougars' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Brock Steele, who posted 11 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ryan Morris, who had seven points in addition to ten boards and three steals.

Show Low's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Seton Catholic, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Show Low wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-51 loss against Alchesay on the 4th. As for Seton Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-31 defeat against Benjamin Franklin on the 4th.
