With a playoff win on the line, Mountain Vista rose to the challenge on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Valor Christian Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Eagles sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Mountain Vista not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Valor Christian between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-19.

Luke Colquette paced Mountain Vista's offense, picking up 14 kills. Colquette got some help from Keyvon Motallebi and his 37 assists. Colquette was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Mountain Vista's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-2. As for Valor Christian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 16-9 record.
