Baseball Recap: Schalick Cougars vs. Pitman Panthers
On Tuesday Schalick's undefeated season almost came to an end. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Pitman Panthers 4-2. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 6-2 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.
Luke Pokrovsky made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
