Baseball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Has No Trouble Against Rangeview

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Golden, Thomas Jefferson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Rangeview Raiders. The game marked the Spartans' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Thomas Jefferson got a massive performance out of Shepard Schneider, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Schneider a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexander Berry, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Thomas Jefferson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rangeview only managed seven hits.

Thomas Jefferson's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8. As for Rangeview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

Thomas Jefferson has already played their next matchup, a 15-0 defeat against Cheyenne Mountain on the 12th. As for Rangeview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 14-9 loss against Westminster on the 12th.
