Basketball Game Preview: Riverton Hawks vs. Central A & M Raiders + How To Watch

The Riverton Hawks will square off against the Central A & M Raiders at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Riverton is headed into Saturday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 20th straight games dating back to last season on Thursday. They took a 48-32 bruising from Midwest Central/Delavan.

Despite the loss, Riverton had strong showings from Danae Anderson, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten boards, and Britnee Walker, who went 5-for-11 en route to 13 points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Central A & M unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 49-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Neoga on Monday.

Things could have been worse for Riverton, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-38 loss to Central A & M in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can the Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
