The Sunrise Mountain Miners are taking a road trip to challenge the Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunrise Mountain will be strutting in after a victory while Mater Academy East Las Vegas will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Sunrise Mountain got the win against Del Sol by a conclusive 4-1. The result was nothing new for Sunrise Mountain, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mater Academy East Las Vegas didn't have quite enough to beat Desert Pines last Wednesday and fell 2-1. Mater Academy East Las Vegas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The win made it two in a row for Sunrise Mountain and bumps their season record up to 9-0-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two matchups. As for Mater Academy East Las Vegas, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1.

Sunrise Mountain skirted past Mater Academy East Las Vegas 1-0 in their previous meeting back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Miners since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
