Basketball Recap: Corydon Central's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Corydon Central lost against Paoli back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Corydon Central Panthers took a 48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paoli Rams.

Corydon Central's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Fessel, who went 6 for 11 en route to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Titus Wolfe, who posted nine points and five boards.

Corydon Central's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4. As for Paoli, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Corydon Central has already played their next match, a 66-52 loss against Brownstown Central on the 1st. As for Paoli, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-50 defeat against Forest Park on the 1st.
