Volleyball Recap: Joplin Takes a Loss

Joplin was the 3-0 winner over Pittsburg when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17.

Joplin dropped their record down to 1-16-1 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Pittsburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.

Joplin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Diamond on the 29th. As for Pittsburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Rogers Heritage on the 27th.
