Soccer Game Preview: Cuba-Rushford vs. Andover

The Cuba-Rushford Rebels will square off against the Andover Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cuba-Rushford's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Cuba-Rushford's offense. They fell just short of Wellsville by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Meanwhile, neither Andover nor Alfred-Almond could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Andover's draw gives them a new season record of 2-6-3. As for Cuba-Rushford, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Cuba-Rushford beat Andover by a goal in their previous matchup back in September, winning 1-0. Will the Rebels repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
