Softball Recap: West Harrison's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

West Harrison's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the Hancock Hawks get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Jaylin Jones was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.

With the win, West Harrison broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-14. As for Hancock, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hawks beat West Harrison by a score of 4-0 on Friday.
