Cimarron-Memorial won the last time they faced Cheyenne and things went their way on Friday too. The Spartans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Desert Shields.

Daniel Vargas paced Cimarron-Memorial's offense, picking up seven kills. Vargas got some help from Byron Nguyen and his 19 assists. Stephen Rivera controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cimarron-Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season. As for Cheyenne, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.

Cimarron-Memorial has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Eldorado on the 5th. As for Cheyenne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Durango on the 5th.
