 Two dominant  guards in  Jada Kendrick and  Jesstynie Scott are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Thomson Bulldogs will head out on the road to  take on  the Sumter County Panthers at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Thomson is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
 Last Friday, Thomson was able to grind out a solid  win over Washington County, taking the game  43-36. Given Thomson's advantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 21st, while Washington County is ranked 150th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Thomson found their leader in underclassman  Dalysa Gilmore, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and 12  rebounds. Gilmore is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of  Paris Rosser, who  scored five points along with seven  steals and five  assists.
 Meanwhile,  Sumter County unfortunately witnessed the end of their  seven-game winning streak on Friday. They took a  57-39 bruising from Dodge County.
 Thomson's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Sumter County, their defeat  ended a six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 19-8.
