Basketball Recap: Bryan Comes Up Short

Bryan lost to Patrick Henry back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Golden Bears took a 49-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Golden Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 568th, while the Patriots are ranked 250th).

Bryan has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Patrick Henry, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

Bryan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-44 defeat against Van Wert on the 17th. As for Patrick Henry, they will host Wauseon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
