Shadow Hills is a perfect 10-0 against Xavier Prep since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Shadow Hills Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Xavier Prep Saints at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Shadow Hills has three straight wins, Xavier Prep has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Xavier Prep's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Shadow Hills hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. Shadow Hills never let Palm Springs get on the board and left with a 25-0 victory on Friday. The match marked the Knights' most dominant win of the season so far.

Karla Cerda looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Gianna Hernandez was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Perez, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.

Shadow Hills kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Xavier Prep came up short against Rancho Mirage on Friday, falling 20-10.

Shadow Hills' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Xavier Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything went Shadow Hills' way against Xavier Prep in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Shadow Hills made off with a 7-0 win. Does Shadow Hills have another victory up their sleeve, or will Xavier Prep turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
