Waverly entered their tilt with Lincoln Southeast on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Friday.

Gracie Lauenstein paced Waverly's offense, picking up ten kills. Lauenstein got some help from McKinley Moser and her 22 assists. Moser was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Haleigh Bauer and Ava Bearden certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Bauer had eight digs and six kills, while Bearden had 16 assists and five digs. Bearden is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 22 games she's played.

Waverly's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Lincoln Southeast, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.

Waverly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Marian on the 4th. As for Lincoln Southeast, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lincoln North Star on the 4th.
