Basketball Recap: Western Boone Stars vs. Speedway Sparkplugs

Western Boone suffered their biggest loss since December 27, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 67-45 to the Speedway Sparkplugs. The Stars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Western Boone saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ally Lewis dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds. Lewis has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. Isabella Fettig also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.
