Football Game Preview: Leetonia Bears vs. David Anderson Blue Devils

Leetonia hasn't had much luck against David Anderson recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Leetonia has given up an average of 33.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Leetonia is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against East Palestine on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bears were outmatched by the Bulldogs and fell 50-14. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask David Anderson). They breezed past Southern to the tune of 56-7 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Devils sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

David Anderson's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Leetonia, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
