Volleyball Recap: Maplewood's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Maplewood waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Conneaut Spartans. For the Rockets, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2020.

Maplewood's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Conneaut, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maplewood will face off against Lordstown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Conneaut, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lakeside at 6:30 p.m.
