Soccer Recap: Riverdale Takes a Loss

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Riverdale was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Princeton Tigers. If Riverdale were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to Princeton when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Princeton, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-8 record.

Riverdale has already played their next match, a 6-2 defeat against Abingdon/Avon on the 11th. As for Princeton, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Earlville on the 12th.
