Softball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

The Madison Trojans lost 23-15 to the Dundee Vikings on Tuesday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kendall Gilbertson stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Macie Kilpatrick was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Dundee, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will take on Erie-Mason at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dundee, they will face off against Napoleon at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
