Baseball Recap: Denbigh Wins Going Away Against Phoebus

Denbigh won the last time they faced Phoebus and things went their way on Thursday too. The Denbigh Patriots blew past the Phoebus Phantoms 16-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Ben Bly was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four RBI and two runs. Liam Blazek was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-5.

Denbigh was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .395. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Phoebus only posted a batting average of .167.

Denbigh's record is now 2-0. As for Phoebus, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Denbigh will challenge Heritage at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Phoebus, they will head out on the road to square off against Woodside at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
