Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marian Catholic). They really took it to the De La Salle Meteors for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Meteors: they've now won four in a row.

Marian Catholic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kyle Scott led the charge by rushing for 89 yards and one score on only seven carries, while also picking up 45 receiving yards and one touchdown. Another passer making a difference was Owen Askren, who threw for 152 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes.

Marian Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for De La Salle, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
