Volleyball Recap: Mauldin Takes a Loss

Mauldin lost against Greenville H last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mavericks lost 3-0 to the Hurricanes.

Mauldin was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Greenville H work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 26-24, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Ben Quillen, who had seven digs and one assist. Those seven digs gave him a new career-high.

Mauldin's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Greenville H, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Coming up, Mauldin will host Catawba Ridge at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday. As for Greenville H, they will take on Varsity Opponent at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
